How to Export Files from Shopware 6 to Google Drive
What’s wrong with the Shopware 6 export? It is fairly limited in terms of multiple aspects, and the final destination of exported files is not an exception. By default, you can only download files from Shopware 6 manually after the export procedure is complete. It means that if your partner needs an update from you, you cannot provide it directly by means of such services as Google Drive. If you choose the default Shopware tools, you will have to move your update to the external storage, moving it from Shopware 6 manually. However, there is a way to enable Shopware 6 Google Drive export. You will need the Improved Import, Export, and Mass Actions app because it completely revamps the standard Shopware 6 export. The following tutorial explains how to export files from Shopware 6 to Google Drive. Also, check our Shopware 6 Google Drive Import guide. Default Shopware 6 Export
In the case of the default procedure, you select your export profile, launch the transfer, and download the file manually when the export process is complete.
What’s wrong with it? Every time your partner needs the update, you have to repeat the same algorithm: launch the export, download the update, and reupload it to a third-party platform or provide it directly to the recipient.
But there is a better way to provide your exported files to your partners. The Improved Import, Export, and Mass Actions app lets you export data from Shopware 6 to Google Drive.
What is Google Drive
Google Drive is a popular cloud-based storage for storing files and accessing them online. The service lets you sync documents, photos, videos, etc., storing them securely and opening or editing them from any device.
Although it is possible to open files created with Google apps straight in your browser or mobile app, files of other types require regular applications, such as Adobe Reader for PDF files.
If you need to export data from Shopware 6 to Google Drive, you no longer need to download it and provide it to the file storage manually.
