General Configuration

From the Admin Panel, make your way to Store > Settings > Configuration > MAGEPLAZA EXTENSIONS > Better Change Qty.

Select Yes to enable all the features of this extension. There are 3 options in the Change Quantity Step section:

• If the Change Qty Step = Product Qty Increment, it will show the step growing by the number configured in Magento products. The admin can set the limitation for the number option also.
  For example: If Qty Increments = 3; Step 1 is 1 product, Step 2 is 4 products, Step 3 is 7 products, and so on. The gap in product quantity is 3.
• If the Change Qty Step = Fixed Value, the step displaying will be the same as in the Qty Step Value configuration. Admins can freely enter the number of items for each time customers add products to their cart and manage the limits for displaying options also.
• If the Change Qty Step = Custom Value, the number configured in the Custom Step field will determine the step displaying.
  For instance: Qty Step Value = 3,5,9, means that Step 1 is 3 product, Step 2 is 5 products, and Step 3 is 9 products

Moreover, the store owners can set the maximum of steps as Stock Quantity, Fixed Value, or Both. If they want customers to freely enter their preferred quantity, they can click Yes in the Allow Open Qty field. 

There are 3 kinds of available template options, which are Buy {{qty}}; Buy {{qty}} for {{price}} each; Buy {{qty}} for {{price}} each and save {{percent}} for single quantity, multiple quantity and tier price respectively. Additionally, the store is able to choose which categories and product types, as well as pages they want to apply Qty step display.

Finally, the Tier Price Notice of the Magento Default can be disabled if admins choose Yes in the Hide Tier price notice section.
